When Chris agreed to put together a running program for me, I expected something pretty straightforward with a calendar printout and handwritten notes on it, but what he sent me was way more detailed and strategic than I ever would have imagined! His running program provided such variety that it made running both rewarding and enjoyable. I can honestly say, this is the most fun I have had running in my life. Chris developed a program with strategic thinking with changing training phases and I am in the best running shape of my life. Most importantly, being a father of three kids under 5, his program catered to my unpredictable schedule and Chris was able to make sure I got the most out of my runs. It is evident to me that he is incredibly knowledgeable and was happy to connect when any questions came to mind. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been able to work with Chris.
Training with Coach Chris this summer has been awesome - he is so committed helping people succeed in their sport. He tailors workouts to align with people’s goal races and offers really helpful advice throughout the week to keep you on track (things like stretching, nutrition, sleep etc). I highly recommend training with Coach Chris. You will not find a coach who cares more about his athletes!
It’s been such a pleasure to work with Chris and be a part of the Swift Endurance run club. Chris’s program helped me shave 7 minutes off my half marathon time. His wholistic and simplistic approach is easy to understand and follow, and his coaching style is supportive and encouraging. Chris is always there to answer questions, he’s consistent, professional, and knowledgeable, and he’s just an overall great person to work and run with! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris as a run or tri coach to anyone at any level.
