ABOUT CHRIS SWIFT-FRY

Chris has been competing in triathlon since 2017. While he had some running experience from years ago, Chris could barely swim a pool length and had only biked for commuting purposes. He, like many of you, started at the beginning.

As soon as Chris finished his first sprint triathlon in 2017, he was hooked on the sport. Chris has completed sprint, olympic, and half ironman distance races, with the goal of racing an ironman in the next couple of years. He is most proud of qualifying for Age Group Team Canada to compete in the Age Group Worlds in the standard distance in 2019. Sadly, the event was cancelled. Chris is eager to qualify once again.

Thanks to the encouragement of his friends, Chris now shares his passion for endurance sports by hosting a free weekly running group in Saanich, BC, provides personalized training plans for individual athletes, and has now partnered with Panorama Recreation to offer a Beginner Triathlon Clinic. Chris aims to share all the lessons, advice, and NCCP training he has received. He is here to help you get started on your journey or help you get over that plateau.
